How does climate change affect children?

A study commissioned by UNICEF with shocking conclusions. Due to unbearable temperatures, children living in Maldives have difficulty sleeping, learning and concentrating during lessons. The classroom window cannot be opened, because mosquitoes carrying dengue can fly in. Climate change is happening today and is affecting those who have not cause it.

Are the inhabitants of the Indian Ocean islands leaving them because of climate change?

Understanding climate change in places most exposed to its effects can be very unintuitive. We checked why this is the case in georgous Maldives together with researchers from the University of Oslo on behalf of UNEP Grid-Arendal.

How has the COVID-19 pandemic affected our pro-ecological behavior?

During the pandemic, we were forced to limit transport, sometimes to save money, and certainly to stop the daily rush. Can this be translated into changing the way we live to be more ecological? We answered these questions in a complementary quantitative and qualitative study on changing attitudes and lifestyles of Poles in the first wave of the pandemic.

Are educators ready to teach about climate change?

Based on a survey conducted among preschool teachers, a handbook with recommendations was created.
